This is the Rhondda Civic Society’s website. We hope you like it and will join us on a regular basis to see what we have going on in terms of Poems and Pints evenings, Quiz Nights, Sponsored Walks, Open Evenings with Interesting Guest Speakers and lots of interesting things like the Launch of our Marker Stones and our Enflowerment Projects. 2019 is our thirty fourth year as the Society was formed in 1985 to raise funds for the Mining Family Statue at Tonypandy (outside the Asda store). Our 30th anniversary in 2015-16 was celebrated at our AGM with a special cake that was cut by our President and current Chairman.
